Sustainable tourism development in the Blidinje Nature Park
The Visit Blidinje Association was established in 2014 as a result of shared thinking among entrepreneurs from the Blidinje Nature Park about destination tourism that would provide visitors with rich content and quality service.
The association supports all green projects and strives solely and exclusively for sustainable tourism development.
From the very beginning, the goal has been to connect all providers of tourist arrangements and activities, local producers, mountaineering societies, mountain rescue services, local residents, park management—everyone who in any way operates in this area—into a unified organization that will promote and enhance all the natural and cultural values of this beautiful and untouched gem of nature, in the spirit of sustainable tourism development.
All activities are aimed at the main goal—positioning the Blidinje Nature Park as a serious tourist destination on the map of the entire region throughout the year.
