The tour around Blidinje Lake offers much more than just sightseeing. Walking along its shores gives you the opportunity to enjoy incredible views of Vran and Čvrsnica mountains.
The journey starts from the Blidinje Mountaineering Lodge, passing by the Church of Our Lady of the Snows and Barrelland Blidinje (a popular landmark known as the barrel). The lake is located at an altitude of 1185 m and is considered the largest mountain lake in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Walking alongside it, you feel the fresh mountain air on your face, while your eyes are captivated by the green expanses below Jelinak and further across the entire Vran mountain.
Circling the largest mountain lake in the entire country is a unique endeavor that can only be experienced in Blidinje Nature Park. The experience is even greater because you will completely surround it and take in every corner with your gaze.
