Franciscan House of Prayer
FRANJEVAČKA KUĆA MOLITVE MASNA LUKA
Located in the heart of the Blidinje Nature Park, on the slopes of Mount Čvrsnica, the Franciscan House of Prayer in Masna Luka is a peaceful oasis situated at 1204 meters above sea level. It is the result of centuries of love from the friars of the Herzegovinian Franciscan Province towards these lands and the people who inhabit them. In past times, they were shepherds with their flocks, and in recent decades, they are mostly individuals who come to the mountains to rest their bodies and find their souls.
The entire complex is a harmonious unit that, with its architecture, perfectly and unobtrusively blends into the natural surroundings.
Spiritual retreats are regularly organized here, and besides communal prayers, moments of silence, and walks in the beautiful nature, accommodation can also be found in the same place.
The Franciscan House of Prayer offers:
- 40 single and 8 double rooms with private bathrooms
- a chapel with seating for about 30 people
- a dining hall
- a large hall (60 seats)
- a small hall (40 seats)
- a space for socializing.
