PSD Vilinac Jablanica: Centuries-old tradition of mountaineering
PSD Vilinac is a mountaineering society from Jablanica that maintains a centuries-old tradition of mountaineering in Bosnia and Herzegovina and is one of the oldest mountaineering societies in the country.
They own their own mountain lodge on Vilinac at an altitude of 1961 meters, which is the only one of its kind in the Balkans inaccessible by vehicle. This lodge is also the highest-altitude lodge in the entire Dinaric Alps.
They provide accommodation and meals for visitors, organize mountaineering tours (both summer and winter), and ski touring trips to the mountains of Prenj and Čvrsnica. The society also operates a guiding service with highly trained guides.
