Drežanka Canyon: Border of Blidinje Nature Park
Drežanka Canyon marks the outermost boundary of Blidinje Nature Park. It is situated between the Čvrsnica and Čabulja mountains, and its depth reaches an incredible 1500 meters at some points.
Here, we take you on an easy walk from Barzonja to a spot where the view of Drežanka Canyon is the most breathtaking. Passing beneath the steep slopes of Jelinak and enjoying beautiful views of the higher regions of Čvrsnica will accompany you throughout the journey, and when you reach the final point, the ruggedness of this canyon will leave you speechless. It looks as if it were cut by a sword, and its depth and steep slopes on both sides are truly rare in this part of Europe.
The entire route follows a gravel road. It begins with a gentle ascent and ends with a slight descent to reach the destination.
