Every season has its own charm in this park. During cold and snow-rich winter days, the Ski Center in Risovac is a favorite destination for skiers and winter enthusiasts from the entire region, while the more adventurous patiently climb to the park’s highest peaks. Spring days are full of water because of the melting snow, with many locations featuring abundant streams and springs that usually never dry up providing even more water. At the same time, many venture to the slopes of Čvrsnica and Vran in search of medicinal herbs that bloom during this particular period. Autumn, with its vivid and diverse colors, makes every hiking tour unforgettable, and it’s not uncommon for snow to cover almost the entire park. Summer is a real lure for those who want to escape the unbearable heat in the lower regions of the country. During summer, hiking trails are full of hikers, just like all other attractions in this park, where visitors arrive daily to spend their vacation in the best possible way.
