HPD Pločno

The lodge is in its final stages of construction and may not be fully completed yet, but it is suitable for sleeping and hosting various events. It is equipped with all necessary amenities: water, electricity, internet, a mini kitchen, central heating throughout the facility, 21 toilets, and 7 bathrooms. Once fully completed, the lodge will feature a restaurant with 160 seats and a kitchen adjacent to it. There is access for all types of vehicles via an asphalt road leading to the lodge, ample parking space, camping area, children’s playground, and even a small Zip-Line. The lodge is heated using biomass, thus contributing to the cleaning of the forests in the Blidinje Nature Park. Solar panels on the lodge’s roof provide hot water, while wastewater passes through a state-of-the-art Bio-Wastewater Treatment Plant, ensuring the water is fully purified before discharge. The lodge operates following the “Green Destination” program, with no harm to the environment. Via Dinarica has praised it as an example of good practice. Located ideally for access to hiking trails leading to Pločno, Veliki Vilinac, and all parts of the Vran Mountain.
